St. Joseph’s Seminary is looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to the Rector. This Assistant works closely with the Rector of the Seminary, handling his calendar, phone calls, correspondence, and various administrative tasks related to the Rector’s office. The Assistant also works with the faculty and staff in a collaborative fashion to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the seminary. This position requires familiarity with the Catholic faith and the Church. It requires decorum and professionalism, with a sense of discretion and judgment in the handling of sensitive information. Flexibility, interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and the ability to work under pressure and as part of a team are all essential characteristics.
